During Upgrade to 12.2 version, the File Glrbldsq.sql Fails For Product GL with Error ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied (Doc ID 2882791.1)

Symptoms

During upgrade patching to 12.2 version the following file causes a patching failure:
glrbldsq.sql on worker 1 for product gl username GL failed


ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied
occurred while executing the SQL statement:
CONNECT GL/*****



STEPS TO REPLICATE
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:Run upgrade process from a version below 12.2.x to a 12.2 version.

Steps in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2.11 Readme (Doc ID 2758997.1) should be followed to do this upgrade.

 

Changes

 This issue is caused by upgrading to 12.2.5 or higher.
