G-Invoicing adjust advance performance completes with error:

Error - ARAR_RW_AMOUNT_LESS_THAN_APP

Error:
Message not found. Application: PA, Message Name: The receipt amount cannot be less than the sum of the applied and on-account amounts. 

Steps to replicate the issue:

1. Submit refund advance at the line schedule by entering negative quantity and the original performance reference number.

2. Settlement process completes in G-Invoicing.

NOTE: The pull performance process did not un-apply the receipt amount or reduce the funding amount from originally applied receipts.

3. The advance performance resulted in a failure  (ARAR_RW_AMOUNT_LESS_THAN_APP)

4. When trying to reprocess the receipts,the following error is encountered:

Error:Message not found. Application: PA, Message Name: The receipt amount cannot be less than the sum of the applied and on-account amounts.
