RXZXPTEX: Financial Tax Register Report Is Not Showing Tax Amount From XLA Tables For Receipts (Doc ID 2885979.1)

Symptoms

RXZXPTEX: Financial Tax Register is only showing tax amount from ar_distributions_all for a receipt. There are two tax lines on the receipt in the xla_ae_lines table, but the register is not reflecting this.

It is expected that the register to show the full amount of the tax on the receipt from the XLA tables.

 

STEPS TAKEN

Responsibility: Receivables Manager

  1. create receipt with custom SLAM generating two tax lines in XLA
  2. apply the receipt
  3. account the receipt
  4. run the Financial Tax Register for the period at Transaction Level

 

Example:

The Register shows tax amount as -0.57

REGISTER
Transaction Number TAX AMOUNT ACCOUNTED AMOUNT
Receipt 12345 -0.57 -0.57

 

The Receipt shows accounting as:

AR_DISTRIBUTIONS_ALL
SOURCE_TYPE AMOUNT_DR ACCTD_AMOUNT_DR
TAX 0.57 0.57
XLA_AE_LINES
ACCOUNTING_CLASS_CODE ENTERED_DR ENTERED_CR ACCOUNTED_DR ACCOUNTED_CR
TAX   5.41   5.41
TAX 0.57   0.57
