Employee BIK Statement Report Is Showing Wrong Values for Cash Equivalent of Car Element (Doc ID 2889752.1)

Symptoms

Problem Statement:

When viewing Employee BIK Statement Report wrong results are displayed on 'Cash Equivalent of Car' Element for:
 - employees who have swapped cars mid-year
 - employees who finished paying for the car mid-year
 
'Cash Equivalent of Car' Element value is corresponding to 'Taxable Benefit ITD' value from 'GB BIK Audit Report' output.

'Taxable Benefit ITD' value is correct on the 'GB BIK Audit Report' output.

 

Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Under HRMS Manager Responsibility > Navigate to People > Enter and Maintain > Query or Add employee from start of fiscal year (for example: 06-Apr-2021).

2. Go to Assignment > Entries > Add 'GB BIK Car and Car Fuel' element from 06-Apr-2021, set Benefit Start Date to 06-APR-2021 and Benefit End Date to 05-Apr-2022.

3. Navigate to Processes and Reports > Submit Processes and reports > Run Payroll processes till July 2021.

4. Navigate to People > Enter and Maintain > Query for employee > Assignment > Entries > Correct 'GB BIK Car and Car Fuel' element with Benefit End Date to 31-Aug-21.

5. Navigate to Processes and Reports > Submit Processes and reports > Run 'Payrolling of Benefits in Kind Archive Process' with the Report Options parameter set to Audit Report. GB BIK Audit Report is spawned.

6. Navigate to People > Enter and Maintain > Query for employee > Assignment> Others > Quickpay > Run Quickpay for August 2021.

7. Navigate to Processes and Reports > Submit Processes and reports > Run 'Payrolling of Benefits in Kind Archive Process' with the Report Options parameter set to Audit Report. GB BIK Audit Report is spawned.

8. Check 'Taxable Benefit ITD' value from 'GB BIK Audit Report' output. Value is correct.

9. Under Employee Self Service Responsibility > Navigate to Employee BIK Statement > View the Employee BIK Statement Reports.

10. Value for 'Cash Equivalent of Car' Element is different from the value for 'Taxable Benefit ITD' from 'GB BIK Audit Report' output.
