Last updated on MAY 15, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Cost Management - Version 12.2.10 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.2.10 version, Revenue-COGS Matching

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When running Collect Revenue Recognition Information, the 'From' date parameter requires user to enter the previous month or older data to process costed Sales Order transactions. It is expected to run Start Date (the End Date for the last successful request completion) in order to pull in just the data needed. Or should be able to use the data parameters to only pull data between the Start and End dates specified. However, this does not work this way and the only way to have this data pulled is to expand the date range to previous period start date or older to current date. Only then will this work.

Collect Revenue Recognition Information: it is not working when entering the following parameters:

1 - Ledger = <Ledger>
2 - Start Date = [today's date less 5 days]
3 - End Date = [today's date]

The following option is working:

1 - Ledger = <Ledger>
2 - Start Date = previous period start date or older months data
3 - End Date = [today's date]
