In Oracle iProcurement, Award Selection Shows Multiple Active Awards in the List of Values, Even Though Only One Is Active (Doc ID 2890968.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 19, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle iProcurement - Version 12.2.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In Oracle iProcurement, Release 12.2.9, when searching for an award during the checkout process, the Award list of values (LOV) is showing awards that are inactive.

Due to this issue, users are seeing incorrect award numbers that could be selected for the requisitions.
It is expected that the Award LOV will only contain active awards.

Steps To Reproduce

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log in to Oracle Applications.
2. Navigate to an iProcurement responsibility > iProcurement Home Page > Shop tab > Non-Catalog Request subtab.
3. On the Non-Catalog Request page, add an item to cart.
4. After the item is added to cart, click the View Cart and Checkout button.
5. On the Shopping Cart pop-up window, enter the Project and Task values (example: Project 1000251 and Task 03-01-00).
6. In the Award field, the value shows as DEFAULT. Click the LOV icon.
7. In the "Search and Select: Award" pop-up window, in addition to "DEFAULT", it shows two awards (example: 1073 and 1076), both with Start Date 01-Jul-2008 and End Date 30-Jun-2025 - but only 1076 is actually active. The Award 1073 is defined with an End Date of 01-Jul-2008 which is same as the Start Date.

Changes

The issue is noticed to occur after upgrade from Release 12.2.4 to 12.2.9 was completed.
