Symptoms

Problem Statement:

When running 'RTI - Full Payment Submission Process (FPS) 2022/23' Process the following error it's showing in the process log:

Cause:        an oracle error has occurred.  The failure was reported on
table pay_population_ranges_pkg.perform_range_creation at location 1642
with the error text ORA-20001:
ORA-06512: at "APPS.HR_DYNSQL", line 1924
ORA-06512: at "APPS.HR_DYNSQL", line 2451
ORA-06512: at "APPS.PAY_POPULATION_RANGES_PKG", line 287
ORA-06512: at "APPS.PAY_POPULATION_RANGES_PKG", line 593
ORA-06512: at line 1

 

Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

   1. Under HRMS Manager responsibility

   2. (N) Processes and Reports > Submit Processes and Reports > Single Request > Run 'Payroll Run UK' and 'PrePayments' Process

   3. (N) Processes and Reports > Submit Processes and Reports > Single Request >  Run 'RTI - Full Payment Submission Process (FPS) 2022/23' Process
     
   4. 'RTI - Full Payment Submission Process (FPS) 2022/23' Process Completed with Status 'Error'

   5. Check the process log file and observe the error

 

Changes

 Issue occurs when Patch 34245623:R12.PAY.C is applied on top of Patch R12.HR_PF.C.delta.16 (RUP16)
