OKC_CONTRACTS_REQUIRED_VALUE 'No Setup For Contract Autonumbering' Error When Creating a Customer Product (Doc ID 290619.1)

Create a customer product. This error occurs when you attempt to create the product:

There is no setup for contract auto-numbering.


Prior to creating the product, the following actions have already been taken:

1. Sequential Numbering profile has been set to Always Used or Partially used. This is documented
in Note 179660.1 (Internal Document), How to Setup Autonumbering for Oracle Contracts.

2. Auto-numbering rules have been defined at the Site, Operating Unit, and/or Contract Category
using the Auto-numbering form that is available in the Contracts Manager responsibility.
