Symptoms
Issue started occurring post upgrading EBS version from 12.1.3 to 12.2.10.
Workflow Notification Mailer is getting stuck when trying to send any workflow email notification with 50+ MB attachment.
Steps to reproduce the issue:
- From EBS application, trigger any workflow that sends email notification with 50+ MB attachment.
- On checking above notification ID in "wf_notifications" table, "mail_status" column is stuck in "MAIL" status. Eventually, outbound thread(s) is getting Inactive and not processing other notifications.
Changes
EBS upgraded from R12.1.3 to R12.2.10 version.
