Purpose
The document details the changes to Oracle Incentive Compensation to update rates applicable to a sales representative in an asynchronous manner:
1. Create a New Profile
A new profile is created to determine if any update in Rate Dimension causes change in rate tiers associated with Salesperson.
2. Block/Unblock Salesperson rate Tier Update- Based on Profile Value
The existing functionality is modified to either block or unblock update of rate tier for salesperson based on value set for profile.
3. Create a new Concurrent Program
The new concurrent program is created to update sales representative rate assignments after the rate dimension is updated. The concurrent program needs to be run based on value of the newly introduced profile.
Scope
The enhancement would require changes using following technology components:
• PLSQL
• Oracle Applications Framework (OAF)
The above-mentioned components are already part of the EBS 12.2.12 Technology Stack.
