Symptoms

When attempting to create a new open balances listing definition the following error occurs:

Message not found. Application: XLA, Message Name: XLA_TB_DUP_DEF_NAME.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Payables Manager -> Setup -> Accounting Setups -> Subledger Accounting Setup -> Open Account Balances Listing Definition
  2. Click "Create"
  3. Enter in a new entry with the same name as an existing definition
  4. When exiting the field the error will appear
