Error: Rvtptcontrol Failed, While Creating Receipt From Iprocurement With A New Operating Unit Created. (Doc ID 2908984.1)

Symptoms


After upgrading from 11i to release 12.2.10, when testing receiving in iProcurement, the following error occurs.

ERROR:

Your receipt could not be created successfully due to an unexpected error. Please contact your system administrator with the following information for further assistance.
rvtptcontrol failed

Functionality works as expected in the core Receiving ->Receipts form and is only happening in the iProcurement Receiving page.


STEPS:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigate to the iProcurement responsibility -> iProcurement Home page -> Receiving -> Receive Items.
2. Query by Requisition / Order number.
3. Select line, enter quantity and click on Submit.
4. Reported error occurs.
