Web ADI Using Formulas to Bring Data from Other Spreadsheets (VLOOKUP) Gets Stuck or Does Not Upload the Data (Doc ID 2910103.1)

Symptoms

Attempt to use Web ADI with formulas that bring data from another spreadsheet (such as VLOOKUP) is either freezing without uploading or it shows green happy faces for the rows as uploaded, but in fact nothing is loaded into the Applications.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. Desktop Integrator responsibility > Create Document
2. Pick the parameters and have the spreadsheet created
3. Enter the data by using a formula that brings data from another spreadsheet (such as VLOOKUP or '=[Test_Book1.xlsx]Sheet1!$A$1' - to copy a particular value)
4. Observe in order to have the formulas working, the type of the relevant column must be changed to 'General'
5. Upload the data
6. See the process gets stuck and nothing gets uploaded with no error OR
7. See confirmation that the data was uploaded and also verify that the rows are marked with green happy faces that normally confirm the upload is fine
8. Check the Applications and verify no data was actually loaded

Changes

 None in particular; as there was no change in the Applications, an upgrade for the browser or Microsoft Office may have been performed.
