Unable to Edit Guarantor Record Details when Contract is in New/Incomplete Status (Doc ID 2916214.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 18, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Lease and Finance Management - Version 12.2.5 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.2.5 version, Lease Authoring

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Find that when a contract is being created and a Guarantor record is entered on the new contract, if the business needs to go back and update the Guarantor record once the record has been entered but before the contract is booked, they cannot update the Guarantor record. This forces the business to delete the entire guarantor record and enter a brand new one.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The business would like the ability to edit an existing Guarantor record while setting up a new contract instead of having to delete the entire record and adding it back.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Using lease super user responsibility, author a new lease contract.
2. Navigate to parties tab and add a Guarantor record and apply.
3. Go back to that record using update pencil, no fields are available to edit.
