Last updated on APRIL 19, 2024

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.
EXECUTABLE:WSHINTERFACE - Interface Trip Stop

Symptoms

Interface trip stop program is failing during the Inventory Interface with the following error:
Error : No open period found for date entered in MTL_TRANSACTIONS_INTERFACE.

Steps to reproduce:

1.  Find that a certain order has not yet been interfaced to Inventory,  even though it was shipped during an accounting period that is now closed.   This issue will most frequently occur when the goods are physically shipped late in one month.  However, due to issues with the order or just not having personnel available to update e-Business suite, it is not noticed until early the following month, that the order was never ship confirmed.

2.  Ship confirm this order.  If shipped with Defer Interfaces checked,  then submit Interface Trip Stop for the delivery or trip stop on this order.

3.  ITS ends with warning

4.  Review a debug ITS log file for this order, see the above error.
