Error: Cannot Update Work Order(xxxxxx) Status To 'Complete No-charge' When There Exists Material In A Work Order. (Doc ID 2917907.1)

Symptoms

When trying to change the status of the workorder to 'Complete No-charge' the system displays:

ERROR
Cannot update Work Order(xxxxxx) status to 'Complete No-charge' when there exists Material in a Work Order.

STEPS
1. Login to Oracle Apps
2. R) Complex maintenance repair and overhaul -> Execution -> Workorders -> Query for a workorder
3. Try to change the status to 'Complete No-charge', get the above mentioned error.
4. Click on the Materials tab, there are no materials
5. Click on the workorder materials tab, there are no materials.
