Goal

Why the Number Of Openings in the Vacancy page is not Matching with NUMBER_OF_OPENINGS Column in Table PER_ALL_VACANCIES?

Navigation

  1. Login to iRecruitment Manager
  2. Navigate to iRecruitment Home
  3. Click on Search Vacancies link
  4. In the launched page select the filter
  5. In the Grid we can see the Number Of Openings against each vacancy
  6. Login to SQL PLUS
  7. Connect using apps/<pwd>
  8. Query the vacancies using below SQL Statement 

           Select NUMBER_OF_OPENINGS from per_all_vacancies where vacancy_id =<Vacancy ID>;

        9. The output shows the number different from the one shown in the vacancy page as mentioned in steps 5.
