ZA: Error ORA-01422: exact fetch returns more than requested number of rows Is Displayed in the View Run Messages Form and in the Process Log After Running Pay Advice Generation - Self Service (South Africa) Process

Symptoms
Problem Statement:
After running 'Pay Advice Generation - Self Service (South Africa)' concurrent program, the following error is displayed for assignment(s) with 'Status' in 'Error' in the View Run Messages form:
ORA-06512: at "APPS.PAY_ARCHIVE", line 1234
ORA-06512: at line 3 has occurred in table pay_archive.process_employee at location 1108
The same error can be seen also in the log file of the 'Pay Advice Generation - Self Service (South Africa)' process.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Under HRMS Manager Responsibility or equivalent.
2. (N) People > Enter and Maintain > query for employee > Assignment > Entries > DateTrack to any date in the next payroll period and query for 'ZA_Tax' element > Entry Values > tick 'Show Adjustment' checkbox > select 'Adjustment' type (Add/Subtract/Replace) and add a value.
Note: 'ZA_Tax' element is the seeded legislative element used for South Africa tax calculations.
3. Navigate to Processes and Reports > Submit Processes and Reports > Single Request > run the following processes, in the given order, for the next payroll period:
3.1. Run 'Payroll Run ZA' process.
3.2. Run 'PrePayments' process.
3.3. Run 'Pay Advice Generation - Self Service (South Africa)' process.
4. Navigate to View > Payroll Process Results > select the row for above 'Pay Advice Generation - Self Service (South Africa)' process > Assignment Process > Query for assignments with 'Status = Error' > Message > Observe above error.
OR
Go to View > Requests > Find 'Pay Advice Generation - Self Service (South Africa)' process > Hit the 'View Log' button > Observe above error.
