Timeout While Updating VAT ID for Customer Resulting in 504 Gateway Timeout (Doc ID 2923633.1)

Symptoms

After updating the VAT ID for the customer, and then trying to review the Tax Profile (PTP) the system is hanging for a long time and eventually times out.

504 gateway timeout



STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.Responsibility: XX – Receivables User Customer (according to the region we should select)
2.Navigation: Customer -> Standard
3. Enter OFA account number in the “Account Number” field and click on “Go”.
4. Once the system shows the customer details, click on the customer name.
5. Click on the “Profile” tab.
6. Enter TAX ID in the “Tax Registration Num” field.
7. Once enter the TAX/VAT ID, please click on “Save/Apply”.
