Symptoms


ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

On a non working day. Calendar setup is Day-off
After upgrading to R12.2.10 from 12.1.3
The Start Date not calculated correctly on Discrete Job,When setting non working day as Completion Date on the Discrete job and save the Discrete Job record, System populates Start Date as non working day.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Backward scheduling must happen and Start Date must be populated as date before non working day because as per calendar setup non working day is Day-off


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.Login to Work In Process responsibility
2.Discrete > Discrete Jobs > Create Job > Set Completion Date = non working day, Release the Job > Save > Start Date populated as non working day
