When the Final Process Date (Which is initially greater than the Secondary Assignment End Date) in the termination form is changed to an earlier date than the Secondary Assignment End Date and after running Security List Maintenance (SLM) Program,

Now when trying to access the employee record using the responsibility which is associated to security profile that has access to Primary assignment, user is not able to access the employee record.

But the same record is accessible when accessed from responsibility which is associated to security profile that has access to Secondary assignment record.

Application is excepted to behave consistently from data access prespective.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Create two Security Profiles for the access of two organizations respectively (e.g. Org A and Org B).

2. Create an employee with one primary assignment on one organization (e.g. Org A) and one secondary assignment on another organization (e.g. Org B).

3. End the secondary assignment say as on 30 - Apr -2022 and save.

4. Terminate the employee with Actual Termination Date which is before end date of the secondary assignment say as on 31 - Mar - 2022. But Final Process Date keyed in is greater than the Secondary Assignment End Date

    say as on 30 - Sep - 2022 and save.

5. Now change the Final Process Date to same date as Actual Termination Date i.e 31 - Mar - 2022 and save.

6. Run the Security List Maintenance.

7. Now it is found that only the users of Org B (Secondary Assignment Organization of the Employee) can access the employee record in People/Assignment form using the Responsibility which is associated to security profile that has access to Secondary assignment record.

8. But the same person record is not accessible for the users of Org A (Primary Assignment Organization of the Employee) in People/Assignment form using the Responsibility which is associated to security profile that has access to Primary assignment record.
