BI Publisher: Pop-Up Window does not Appear when Connected to OAS in French Language (Doc ID 2931573.1)

Symptoms

On: Oracle Analytics Server 6.4

When connected to OAS in French Language, the pop-up window to search objects, does not appear.

If English language is the default language on the Login page of OAS or if the default browser language is set to English, this is working as expected.

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login to OAS using French Language on login screen
  2. Navigate in Catalog to the Report that needs to be scheduled
  3. Click on Schedule for the specific Report 
  4. On General tab notice that the Report field is empty
  5. Click on the magnifier symbol to search and open a Report
  6. Notice that the pop-up Open window is not showing up

This can be reproduced in the following browsers: Edge, Chrome and Firefox.
