UK: After Applying UK Tax Year End (TYE) Patch, When Running GB Statutory Absences Rate Updates Concurrent Program the Rates for open Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) Absences Are Not Updated on Statutory Payments Form (Doc ID 2937198.1)

Symptoms

Problem Statement:
After applying UK TYE patch, when running GB Statutory Absences Rate Updates process - the rates for existing (open) Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) absences are not updated on Statutory Payments form as per latest legislative requirements.
New SSP rates should be in place starting from 6th April (first day of UK tax year).


Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:


1. Under System Administrator Responsibility.

2. Navigate to Profile > System > query for Profile 'GB Statutory Absences Rate Updates: HRGLOBAL'.

3. Set profile to 'No' at Site level.

4. Apply any UK TYE Patch (legislative patch released each year).

6. Under UK HRMS Manager Responsibility.

7. Navigate to Processes and Reports > Submit Processes and Reports > Run 'GB Statutory Absences Rate Updates' process.

8. Navigate to SSP/SMP/SAP/SPP > Person Details > Query for employee with open SSP Absence > Absence > Statutory Payments.

9. Check rates and observe this are the same before and after 06th April.

Changes

 After each annual UK Tax Year End Patch (for example Patch 35020368:R12.PAY.C).
