Symptoms

On : 12.2.7 version, Requisitions

When trying to return a Requisition in the Demand Workbench, the system displays the following message:

ERROR

oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small
ORA-06512: at "APPS.POR_RETURNREQ_PROCESS", line 1578
ORA-01403: no data found
ORA-06512: at "APPS.POR_RETURNREQ_PROCESS", line 339


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to Purchasing Responsibility
2. Go to Buyer Work Center >Requisitions
3. Return Requisition Lines
