Symptoms

Old transactions were brought into Projects module and the requirement is to sweep these into the latest opened periods. When running 'PRC: Sweep Transaction Accounting Events' and 'PRC: Create Accounting' to account for these old transactions, both programs show the errors in the output:

ERROR
It is not possible to create an account mapping based upon the code combination <id> using the chart of accounts mapping <mapping> due to UNABLE_TO_CREATE_NEW_CCID. Please update the chart of accounts mapping or use a different mapping.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Using a Projects Costing responsibility > View > Requests > Submit a new request
2. Run 'PRC: Transactions Import' concurrent program
3. Check its output > Observe this brings in old transactions from previous years
4. Run program 'PRC: Sweep Transaction Accounting Events' to sweep the transactions into the currently opened periods - observe error in its output
5. Run the 'PRC: Create Accounting' program and see error in the output

Changes

Old transactions identified in the system, to be imported into the current periods.
