Replenishment Process Modifies The Original Allocation Reservation

Symptoms
After creating a sales order, when the pick release is run with auto-allocate enabled, the delivery detail is split:
- a partially allocated quantity picked from packed material subinventory and
- a detailed quantity picked from loose sunbinventory
and the replenishment process modify the original allocation reservation.
The reservation gets corrupted and the split delivery detail is backordered with the following error:
ERROR
The demand document doesn't have enough quantity to be reserved against.
STEPS
1. Setup min-max replenishment on the Loose material subinventory with replenishment subinventory as Packed material.
2. Setup picking rules to pick from Packed material subinventory as the first rule.
3. Setup picking rules to pick from Loose material subinventory as the second rule.
4. Setup picking rules for pull replenishment from Packed material subinventory.
5. Create a sales order.
6. Run pick release with pull replenishment enabled.
7. The partial available quantity in Packed material subinventory is picked and allocated to partially satisfy the order quantity at LPN level.
8. The reservation is created for the partially allocated material tied to the delivery detail.
9. The delivery detail being split for the partial unallocated quantity and pull replenishment is triggered.
10. The available loose material subinventory onhand is being considered for allocation.
11. The pull replenishment program updates the existing reservation and deducts the remaining quantity .
12. A new reservation is created for the remaining quantity.
13. See the replenishment program fails with the mentioned error.
