PAXTRAPE: After Transferring Costs From One Project to Another, Burden Summarized (BTC) Expenditures do not Appear to be Reversed. (Doc ID 2942481.1)

Last updated on APRIL 14, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Project Costing - Version 12.2.8 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The customer creates expenditures, burdens as a separate expenditure item and then transfers the original costs to a different project. The costs themselves are backed out in the source project, but the BTC line is not.

Steps to Reproduce:

1.  In the Pre-approved batch form, create an expenditure batch on a project that has burden as a separate item.
2.  Process the items all the way through to the General Ledger
3.  Transfer the costs to a different project in the Expenditure Inquiry
4.  Note the expenditure items transfer as seen by the negative reversing expenditure items, but the summarized BTC item does not appear to back out.
