R12:CE: Is it Supported to Develop a Wrapper Code to Run Scripts from Patch 18842059? (Doc ID 2944950.1)

Goal

Plan to run both scripts below (from p18842059_R12.CE.C_R12_GENERIC) using custom wrapper code.

ce_bank_merge.sql
ce_branch_merge.sql

Need to run them for 100+ banks so instead of running the scripts manually, built a wrapper shell script and passed dynamically to the 2 above scripts.

Is this supported to develop a wrapper code on top of the sql script and modify the parameter passing to the Patch sql scripts?
