Symptoms

Problem Statement:

NPS employer contribution exemption is not calculated under New Tax Regime after applying India Budget Changes for FY 2023-24 patch. The exemption u/s 80CCD2 was calculated before applying the patch for New Tax Regime.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Apply patch 35076622:R12.PAY.C
  2. Navigate to India HRMS Manager
  3. Run QuickPay
  4. On QuickPay form click on View Results >SOE
