Symptoms

Payroll Exception Report completes with errors found in the log file.

ERROR

MSG-00001: tmp009:
REP-1401: 'beforereport': Fatal PL/SQL error occurred.
ORA-06503: PL/SQL: Function returned without value

REP-0069: Internal error
REP-57054: In-process job terminated:Terminated with error:

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

From XX HRMS Manager responsibility:
1. Navigate: Processes and Reports > Submit Processes and Reports > Single Request > query for Payroll Exception Report
2. Enter desired parameter values for the report
3. Submit the report, which completes with error.
4. View log file and see errors.
