R12: OIE: Submitting Expense Reports From Mobile Expense App On Android Devices Results in "Fusion Expenses exception handler has detected a crash" (Doc ID 2954195.1)

Symptoms

When submitting an Expense Report from Android devices (more commonly from Samsung devices), users are getting a System Crash error:

Fusion Expenses exception handler has detected a crash.
   Please contact Oracle support with below information.

Exception Message:
The exception could not be delivered to the consumer
because it has already canceled/disposed the flow or the
exception has nowhere to go to begin with.



Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Login to Oracle Expenses Mobile Application from an Android device
  2. Enter an Expense Report
  3. Submit the Expense Report
  4. Error occurs
