EM Logs Are Showing ORA-01017: Invalid Username/password; Logon Denied (Doc ID 2954667.1)

Symptoms

After making changes to the APPS password using FNDCPASS.

Went into the the Oracle Enterprise Manager to change the APPS named credentials.

Next run the E Business Suite process to update and sync the EBS target system in question.

After some EBS connected targets and metrics show the wrong status.

 

 

Changes

1. Change the APPS password using FNDCPASS

2. Then need to update in EM:

A. Setup >> Security >> Named Credentials --> 2) Select instance (eg EBSP_APPS) --> set new APPS password.

B. 1. Target >> Oracle E Business Suite

     2. Highlight EBS instance

     3. Administer >> Instance Administration

    4. Follow wizard to completion.
