Assigning a shared position in the Assignment form takes almost 30 mins to save the record.

It should be noted that in this case - there is a very volume of assignments to the position on a cyclical basis.
There are a minimum of 5,000 contingent workers assigned to a single position each year.
The headcount of the position setup is set to 20.

Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to US Super HRMS Manager
2. Navigate to Work Structure > Positions > Description
3. Query Position
4. Click Hiring Information tab
5. Note the FTE and Headcount fields.
    See FTE = 0.1 and Headcount = 20
