RXi: Fixed Assets Book Report Output Shows Duplicate Records For Several Assets (Doc ID 2958523.1)

Last updated on JULY 25, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Assets - Version 12.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When the 'RXi: Fixed Assets Book' report is run for the period MM-YY, duplicate information is found for several assets.

When viewing the output the following data is seen similarly for several assets as example provided below for one asset:

,,,,,,,"79244","Sxxxxx Gxxxxxxx",1402.82,1,2,"STL",2011/02/01,0,
,,,,,,,"79244","Sxxxxx Gxxxxxxx",1402.82,1,2,"STL",2011/02/01,0,

There is only one asset in this example so the data should only have one record returned.

Steps to reproduce the issue:
1. Run RXi: Fixed Assets Book report:
parameters: SUBMIT, OFA, RXFABK, ###, DEFAULT, CSV, ASSET_BOOK, MM-YY
2. Display the concurrent request output once complete.
3. Duplicate information found for several assets. The following is an example of the data seen for one of the duplicated assets found in the output:

,,,,,,,"79244","Sxxxxx Gxxxxxxx",1402.82,1,2,"STL",2011/02/01,0,
,,,,,,,"79244","Sxxxxx Gxxxxxxx",1402.82,1,2,"STL",2011/02/01,0,

In previous periods the same behavior was not observed. These assets have existed for many years and this issue was not seen in previous periods.
No update of the information on the assets has been made.
This issue is being seen in all instances.

Changes

The employee the assets assigned to has a new record added in the Human Resource (HR) application.
