Symptoms

Is it possible to enable Single Sign-On (SSO) in the offline mode of theOracle Maintenance Mobile app under the current MAF platform?

It is a significant roadblock for customers as many are not ready to switch to Oracle Javascript Extension Toolkit (OJET) where SSO is expected. Customer will need to rewrite many Oracle Mobile Application Framework (MAF) enhancements intothe OJET platform, if possible to do so.  Oracle Mobile customers are looking to enable the offline mode in their production environment as soon as possible. The Offline mode deployment is a important feature so if SSO for Oracle Mobile is enabled, offline mode is not available.

Alternatively, if Offline mode is available, it works only with the Local Authentication, and we cannot use SSO for Oracle Mobile.

Thus, the Single sign-on in the offline mode of should be enabled.

STEPS

1. Install Maintenance Mobile app in device with provided Single Sign-On login URL.
2. Login based on email id and normal username
3. Switch to offline mode
4. From offline login page, login based on email id and normal username
5. Kill the app and restart.
6. Offline login page should be visible.
