Symptoms

In Oracle iSupplier Portal and Oracle Supplier Lifecycle Management, an error occurs when buyers attempt to create a user account for a supplier contact, during the supplier registration process.

Due to this issue, buyers cannot create user accounts for the supplier contacts, and therefore those supplier contacts would not be able to log in to Oracle Applications and use iSupplier Portal Full Access responsibility.

Steps To Reproduce

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log in to Oracle Applications as the Buyer user.
2. Navigate to Supplier Hub Americas Bus Admin responsibility > Supplier Home
3. On the Suppliers home page, click the Register New Supplier button.
4. Choose the desired Operating Unit value and click the Continue button.
5. On the On the "Suppliers: Register New Supplier" page, enter the mandatory (required) details and click the "Save & Continue" button.
6. On the New Supplier Request page, enter the Taxpayer ID value and save.
7. Scroll down to the Contact Directory region and click the Create button (or select existing contact).
8. On the Update Contact page, ensure that all required details are entered. Enable the checkbox "Create User Account For The Contact" and then click the Apply button. The error occurs at this point.
