Worklist Page Displays message "Submit Process in progress" When User Respond To Notifications On Their Worklist

Issue occurs for users when click on reassign or more information requested button it just rotates without fetching page.
Latest framework patches are applied in the environment.
Symptoms
On : 12.2.11 version, Production instance
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

When user responds to the notification ,process is stuck without any progress
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Once response done ,it should be further processed
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to Oracle Application
2. Click on Worklist notification
3. Submit process
BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, notifications doesn't get processed .
