The Award/Modification Has Been Rejected Notification Incorrectly Displays the Submitter Instead of the Rejecter In the Rejected By Field (Doc ID 2969248.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 22, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Contract Lifecycle Management for Public Sector - Version 12.2.7 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When an approver Rejects an Award (or an Award Modification) that has been sent to them for approval, a problem occurs in the subsequent Notification sent to the submitter that the document has been Rejected.

In this notification the Rejected By field displays the incorrect person.    The Submitter is in the Rejected By field instead of the person(approver) that actually rejected the document.

Steps
1. Create Award or Award Modification via CLM Purchasing Superuser responsibility
2. Submit for approval
3. Approver or Contracting Officer receives notification to approve
4. Approver or Contracting Officer logs in and rejects the Award with comment
5. The submitter receives a notification that the document has been Rejected and in this notification the Rejected By field shows the submitting user instead of the approver that rejected the document.
