While Updating Item Attribute Values Results Severe Performance And Finally Displays Error: Failure of Web server Bridge (Doc ID 2971858.1)

Problem Statement
Performance issue is observed while updating Item Attribute Values. Very 1st time it is taking 4 to 5 mins. of time to update the item attribute values and sometimes getting timeout error.

Failure of Web server Bridge

Replication Steps
1. Login to Oracle Applications
2. Navigation>> Product Information Manager -> Item Search>> Item Simple Search and Search for the item to be updated.
3. Choose the "Planning" tab for the attribute group and click update.
4. Set desired fields (eg: Planner)
5. Select apply, then it takes 4 to 5 mins of time to apply the changes.
