SSHR Duplicate Approvers In Workflow Action History (Doc ID 2973250.1)

Last updated on JUNE 17, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Self-Service Human Resources - Version 12.2 HRMS RUP16 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When multiple people are assigned to a PQH_ROLE, and the role is called into an approval role,
Workflow Action History table is showing sequencing for all persons attached to the role but only showing the duplicated name of the one who approved the workflow item.

Expected Results:
Expect there to be no duplication of sequencing - that the actual approvers should show in the action history list.

Steps to Replicate
1. Create PQH Role and attach 3 users to the role
(Navigation: Responsibility : User Management > Roles & Role Inheritance).

2. Create approval rule to include the PQH Role as an approver.
(Navigation: Approvals Management Business Analyst > Business Analyst Dashboard > select Transaction Type (top right)
Complete other setup Step 2, then step 3 - Create rules to create a rule to look at new Role)

3. Now when one of the persons attached to the role approves the transaction,
When navigating back to Workflow Action History, seeing the approvers name duplicated, instead of seeing all approvers individually, as shown below:

Prior to Approval
  Approver1 Pending
  Approver2 Pending
  Approver3 Pending

Actual Post Approval by Approver1
  Approver1 Approved
  Approver1 Beaten
  Approver1 Beaten

Expected After Post Approval by Approver1
  Approver1 Approved
  Approver2 Beaten
  Approver3 Beaten
