In Oracle iProcurement, Item Does Not Appear in Shopping Cart the First Time It Is Added, but Appears When Added a Second Time (Doc ID 2975602.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle iProcurement, the shopping cart is not working properly.
When the line is initially added to cart, it disappears after viewing the cart; however, after adding a second item, the first item then appears.

Due to this issue, users cannot correctly use the requisition checkout process in iProcurement.


Steps To Reproduce

1. Log in to Oracle Applications.
2. Navigate to an iProcurement responsibility > iProcurement Home Page.
3. On the iProcurement Shopping Home page, see the Shopping Cart is empty. Search the Main Store for an item and click the Go button.
4. In the search results, enter the desired quantity value and click the Add to Cart button.
5. Now, the item is seen in the shopping cart. Click the View Cart and Checkout button.
6. In the resulting Shopping Cart pop-up window, see a couple of Tip messages above the Shopping Cart region, but the shopping cart details do not appear.  Click the "Continue Shopping" button.
7. Now back on the iProcurement Shopping Home page, see the Shopping Cart is empty.
8. Now, search for the same item and Add to Cart again, and it shows again.
9. Click the View Cart and Checkout button. This time, the item details are seen in the Shopping Cart pop-up window. Click the Submit button.
The "Confirmation" message is displayed:
Confirmation
Requisition ####### has been submitted.
10. Click the Continue Shopping button.
11. Now, back on the iProcurement Shopping Home page, see the Shopping Cart is still containing the item.  This appears to be the item that was added to cart on the second attempt (step 8 above).



Changes

The issue is known to occur after applying the following patch:
- Patch 30906592:R12.ICX.D - This patch fixes the issue of users not able to checkout the Requisition in iProcurement in 12.2.10 Release
