Symptoms

When trying to use PA_BILL_RATES_PUB.create_bill_rate_schedule API to create new bill rate schedules, it fails with the following errors, one after another:

Error# 1: 'The schedule reference is missing for bill rate. Enter a schedule reference and retry.'

Error# 2: 'The specified non-labor schedule type NON-LABOR contains an invalid parameter. Enter a valid value and retry. (PA_BILL_RATE=)'

 

Steps
=====
1. The API script needs to be saved to a plain text file (i.e. create_bill_rate_schedule.sql) .

2. Log into SQL*Plus as the Apps system owner.

3. Run the script

SQL> @create_bill_rate_schedule.sql
