Purchase Requisition Approval AME Exception 'ORA-00923: FROM keyword not found where expected' (Doc ID 2979646.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to approve requisitions using the Approval Management Engine (AME), the approval fails, and the AME log shows the following error:

ame_engine fetchAttributeValues 2372970 -194 -923 2023:08:22:12:06:28ORA-00923: FROM keyword not found where expected
ame_engine setContext 2372970 -194 -923 2023:08:22:12:06:28ORA-00923: FROM keyword not found where expected
ame_engine updateTransactionState 2372970 -194 -923 2023:08:22:12:06:28 ORA-00923: FROM keyword not found where expected
ame_api3 getAttributeValue 2372970 -194 -923 2023:08:22:12:06:28 ORA-00923: FROM keyword not found where expected

STEPS
-----------------------
1. Login to Purchasing Responsibility
2. Go to Requisition 
3. Create and submit Requisitions
4. The requisition approval fails
5. AME log file shows the above error
