Create Templates In Quoting Does Not Show Description

Symptoms
The Description field on the Update Template page is not displaying the expected data, it is blank for all of the Products on the Template.
STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Using the Quoting Sales Manager responsibility, navigate Setup > Template Administrator.
2. Open any Template shown on the Search page.
3. The Description field is blank for all the products on the Template.
