R12: CE: Unable to Find Bank Statements and Bank Transaction Codes for some Bank Accounts, after Upgrading from 12.1.x to 12.2.x (Doc ID 2981343.1)

Symptoms

Unable to find some bank statements and bank transaction codes for some of the internal bank accounts, after completing the upgrade from 12.1.x to 12.2.x.

Customer was previously on 11i version at aome point, but they didn't use Cash Management module until the upgrade to 12.1.x. Now they completed the upgrade from 12.1.x. to 12.2.x and notice the issue.

Steps:

A: Bank Statements

  1. In the freshly upgraded 12.2.x instance, navigate to Cash Management responsibility > Bank Statements > Bank Statements and Reconciliation
  2. Enter the Account Number for which the user wants to verify the bank statements and click on Find
  3. There are no records retrieved or the bank statements retrieved are not the same with the ones from the R12.1.x instance

 

B: Bank Transaction Codes

  1. In the freshly upgraded 12.2.x instance, navigate to Cash Management responsibility > Setup > Banks > Bank Transaction Codes
  2. Select the Account Number to be verified from the LOV and click on OK
  3. There are no records retrieved or the bank transaction codes retrieved are not exactly the same with the ones from the R12.1.x instance

 

Changes

 completed the upgrade from 12.1.x to 12.2.x
