OM:On Sales Order Form Service Billing Profile Is A Required Field When Hidden Does Not Throw Error (Doc ID 2982719.1)

Symptoms


 For a sales order, Service Billing Profile is a mandatory value if Service Billing Option is provided, In Sales order
 form, if the field "Service Billing Profile" is hidden, then the mandatory check is not being done for this field.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Go to Responsibility: Order Management.
2. Navigate to Orders, Returns -> Sales Orders.
3. Create an order with item and book it.
4. Add a new line to order with item yyyyy.
Enter Service reference type as Order, and refer to order line created in step 1.
5. In the services tab, show the field - Service Billing Option
Make sure the field 'Service Billing Profile' is hidden.
6. Enter any value for Service Billing Option from LOV and save it.
7. User is able to save without error.
