patchEccFiles.pl Script To Import Applications Fails With "javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: java.security.cert.CertificateException: No name matching Found" Error (Doc ID 2984426.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to import application from EBS to ECC using the perl script patchEccFiles.pl, the script fails and the following errors can be seen in the patchEccFiles output file (patchEccFiles.out) or on the console where it is executed.

ERROR: Importing application /xxx/xxx/xxx/ar/12.0.0/patch/115/ecc/applications/ar_ecc.zip failed

Caused by: java.security.cert.CertificateException: No name matching

The issue can be replicated using the below steps:

1. Log on to the Oracle E-Business Suite server. On that server, source the environment file of your run file system.

3. Review the output of the script to see if it is executed successfully.
