Form Errors Received When Adding Retro Element and Component to Base Element: "ORA-01403: no data found" and "FRM-40735: ON-INSERT trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-01400" (Doc ID 2984705.1)

Symptoms

When trying to add a Retro element and Retro Component to a base element in the Element Description > Recalculation tab, the following 2 errors occur when saving.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigate from US Super HRMS Manager responsibility:Total Compensation > Basic > Element Description

2. Search for element to add retro element and component

3. Click on Recalculation tab

4. Click on Retro Components button and attempt to add retro element and component:
    a. Select Component Field Value as "RetroPay"
    b. Select Reprocess Type field value as "Reprocess"
    c. Select the check box under Default Component
    d. Under Retro Pay element section , select From Field under Time Span as "Start of Time"
    e. Select Retropay Element field value and enter the desired retro element name
    f. Save and error is displayed
