Symptoms
On : 12.2.X, Request Processing
Concurrent Programs in Pending Standby Status after adop
Deployed Java Web Start to the environment. Doing so requires patching and upgrading of database.
Noticed Posting program stuck in pending standby during users testing activities.
Seeing the following message when selecting the program detail:
ERROR
-----------------------
This request will not be processed because it has been submitted from a patch edition while a patch is being applied.
Once patching has completed this request will be made available to run.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Cloned production environment to create QA. Then applied all patches etc to QA and then have the user test to ensure everything works normal.
2. Noticed programs in pending standby
3. Message detail shows it is due to submission from patch edition
Changes
Deployed Java Web Start and ran adop.
