Symptoms
Non Standard Discrete Job Update through Work Order Interface, the interface does not allow WIP_CLASS_TYPE other than "Expense Non-standard"
But when tried from forms, it does allow for WIP_CLASS_TYPE as "Asset Non-standard" which is other than "Expense Non-standard"
ERROR
-----------------------
1. You must specify a class or define a default discrete class.
2. The class must exist and be enabled in this organization.
3. The class must have the correct class type for this job
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Work in Process responsibility.
2. Discrete job- > Discrete Job > Class > Change the class from XXXX to YYYY
3. Save the form.
4. After Update of Discrete Job from forms, it allows class_code to update to class_code type “Asset Non-standard”.
5. For Non Standard Discrete Job Update through Work Order Interface, the interface does not allow WIP_CLASS_TYPE other than "Expense Non-standard".
